I'm grinning from ear to ear now. Hehe, haven't done so for many years!

Today went visiting with my family to some other quite distant relatives' home. And I missed one red packet from there!! Grrr. Thanks to my mum who blocked me from the auntie's view so she skipped my share. Then I told my mum that I missed an angpao because of her. Lol, then she gave me an angpao to replace that one. Hahaha!! Okay, that's not the happy part.

Okay, so I was kinda bored on the way home because the harvest this year isn't really good, but still acceptable as it's a financially tough year this year! Hee.

Now for the LUCKIEST part of my story!! I picked up a S$50 red packet on the pavement at my house downstairs!!! How does that sound to you? Jealous?? Hahahaha!!!

Here's how the story goes.. Junie and I were walking kinda fast (I was the one who was fast actually) after we got out of the car. Then as usual, I'm super kpo and $_$ (just joking!) and I noticed this paper on the ground! Okay, take a closer look and it's a red packet, but its gold one.. so not very obvious its a red packet! Then I wanted to pick it up, but my sister and I were afraid that there's some inauspicious and 'dirty' thing inside so she told me not to pick it up! So I didn't pick it up but I was unreluctant to walk away just like that. There were people who walked past the red packet before and after me but I just stood close to the red packet LOL. Kiasu. Then I told my mum to come and see the red packet. She picked it up and opened it.. at first we thought it was empty. Then she was like 'got money got money!'. I thought it would be $10 at most.. and coz we couldnt see clearly in the dark. Hahaha. Then she took out the whole thing and its like $50!! I think everyone were just shocked. Then I snatched the note and ran off like crazy woman. Oh ya, I also stepped on the note a few times in case it's really 'dirty'. LOL. Yup, and my parents said its my luck today. SWEET.
